They truly take the time to get to know you and make sure you feel comfortable throughout your visit, especially when you need extensive or time-consuming work, like I did. I usually do not have time to write reviews, but this time I needed to take the time to write it. The care itself is top‑notch, but what really sets them apart is the atmosphere they create. They explain everything clearly, make sure you’re comfortable, and somehow turn something most people dread into a positive experience.  We had such a wonderful experience. The entire team (Lorena, Simone and I can't recall the name of the other two beautiful ladies helping Dr Moqattash, so sorry) is incredibly friendly, patient, and caring. They made my children  (ages 11, 12 &15) feel completely comfortable from the moment we walked in. The staff went above and beyond to explain everything and make the visit fun and stress-free. It’s clear they truly care about their young patients. Highly recommend to any parent looking for an exceptional pediatric dental experience. Dr Moqattash is very personal and remembered who I was from my last visit.  He is thoughtful and considerate as to any pain or discomfort me or my kids might feel. Different ages need different things. Most of it is routine, and routine is exactly the point.

When should a child first be seen? Guidance from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry is that a first dental visit should happen by the first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth appearing. Earlier than most people expect — and the early ones are short.

What if my child is nervous? Tell us before the appointment rather than on the day. It changes how we pace the visit. A first appointment can be little more than sitting in the chair and counting teeth.

Can we be seen at the same time? Ask the team when you book. Scheduling several family members together depends on the diary that week, so we would rather check than promise it and get it wrong.

Some children’s cases are better referred, and we will say so.
Sealants help protect back teeth, but they do not replace brushing.

Book online or call and say who needs to be seen and roughly how long it has been. If a child is nervous, mention it now — it changes how we plan the appointment.
The visit itself
An examination, a conversation about what you have noticed, and X-rays only where they would tell us something the exam cannot. Children’s first visits are deliberately short.
What happens next
What needs doing, what can wait, and when to come back. If a family member needs something we do not provide here, we will tell you and point you somewhere that does.

Do you treat children?

Yes — children and adults are seen at the same practice, which is the main reason families choose one. Dr. Moqattash is a general dentist rather than a pediatric specialist, and where a child’s case would be better handled by one, we will say so rather than press ahead.

How old should my child be for a first visit?

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a first visit by age one, or within six months of the first tooth coming through. That surprises most parents. The visits at that age are short and are as much about familiarity as treatment.

Do you take children’s Medicaid?

Yes, we accept children’s Medicaid. Adult coverage is a separate question and depends on the plan, so call (909) 852-6787 with your details and the team will check before you book.

Can the whole family be seen on the same day?

Sometimes, depending on the diary that week. Ask when you book and the team will tell you what is actually available rather than promising something the schedule cannot hold.

What are sealants, and does my child need them?

A thin resin coating painted into the grooves of back teeth, where toothbrush bristles struggle to reach. They can help reduce decay in those grooves. Whether they suit your child depends on their teeth and their decay risk, which we assess at the visit.

My child is scared of the dentist. What do you do differently?

Tell us beforehand. We keep the first visit short, explain things as we go, and do not rush. Sometimes the first appointment is just sitting in the chair and having teeth counted, and that counts as a success.

It has been years since my own last check-up.

That is more common than you would think and it is not something we lecture people about. Tell us how long it has been, and the exam tells us where things actually stand.

Do you see teenagers?

Yes. The teenage years are worth staying regular through — wisdom teeth start to appear, orthodontic questions come up, and brushing habits often slip. We screen and flag what we see.

What will it
cost us?

It depends on who is being seen and what they need, so nobody can quote a family honestly in advance. What we can do is check your coverage before you book and explain costs before treatment starts.

We are a PPO provider for many dental plans and we accept children’s Medicaid. Coverage differs plan by plan, so give the team your details and they will check before you book rather than guessing. CareCredit is available if you would rather spread a larger treatment plan.

 Verified I have been coming here the past two years. First, Lorena is an amazing liaison with your insurance and will do all she can to help you with receiving services. Every single staff member of this establishment is KIND and PATIENT. I love that each of their personalities are all positive and uplifting. Which brings me to Simone, the dental hygienist who is knowledgable, thorough in her work, and compassionate. My mom enjoys going to Simone, which says a lot for someone who in the past dreaded going to get a cleaning. Lastly, Dr. Alex is not a pushy salesman type of dentist. He will give you his recommendations and rationale. Truly, he is a nice man who has provided me, my mother and my 2 year old will excellent care.  Verified I had gone to another dentist close by and they quoted me a pretty high price, 8400.00 out of pocket, I decided to get a second opinion and came to Finesse dental in Rancho, the office manager I spoke to, her name is Lorena, she is very professional and very friendly, gave me great advice insurance wise, I ended up paying less than half of what the other dentist was going to charge, what I noticed right away is they have the latest in technology as far as equipment and dental software, very impressive, Dr. Moqattash is very professional, friendly and patient with his patients, also he is very good at what he does, his staff give out a great vibe, I am super happy that I decided to come here, the dental hygienist was also very professional and friendly and gave me lots of great advice on how to care for my teeth. I don't even know what to say. As someone that was traumatized as a child from the dentist. When I found out my child(3yr) had a cavity I was highly anxious. After doing hours of research on the fillings it left me even more anxious knowing my kid had to fast be sedated and injected for a cavity. When loosing hope I found a post on laser fillings for cavities, which is non invasive. I quickly came
On yelp to find my nearest option  and I came across this dentistry. If we were informed that such technology exists less children would be traumatized. The staff here is beyond amazing and helpful. My kid is 3 years old and did amazing. Thanks to this option. We were done unless then an hour and ready to go eat after this. 100/10 recommend.  Verified I would like to take a minute to thank Dr. Alexander for the exceptional work and customer service he provided my dear Mom. She is 82 years old and has never had any dental work done in her life. She has beautiful teeth. But, she recently found a cracked tooth that desperately needed attention. So, he found that she actually needed two root canals on two of her wisdom teeth which went very smoothly. I had hoped that it would not be painful for her, but she did wonderful throughout the entire procedure. Alexander was very professional, knowledgeable, confident, gentle, and kind! He was very accomodating to Mom--I was very pleased with him. The entire staff is quite cohesive with how they work together as a team. Lorena was exceptional--very nice and personable and the other two assistants were equally impressive. The office is classy and serene and peaceful with its fountain in the center of all the work stations. The music was very relaxing.
