An implant is
three separate parts.

People use "implant" to mean the whole tooth, which makes costs and timelines confusing. There are three pieces. The implant itself is the post placed in the bone. The abutment is the connector that sits on top of it. The crown is the visible tooth attached to that. They are placed at different stages, and they are usually costed separately — so when you are comparing prices anywhere, it is worth asking exactly which parts a quoted figure includes.

I usually do not have time to write reviews, but this time I needed to take the time to write it. The care itself is top‑notch, but what really sets them apart is the atmosphere they create. They explain everything clearly, make sure you’re comfortable, and somehow turn something most people dread into a positive experience.  We had such a wonderful experience. The entire team (Lorena, Simone and I can't recall the name of the other two beautiful ladies helping Dr Moqattash, so sorry) is incredibly friendly, patient, and caring. They made my children  (ages 11, 12 &15) feel completely comfortable from the moment we walked in. The staff went above and beyond to explain everything and make the visit fun and stress-free. It’s clear they truly care about their young patients. Highly recommend to any parent looking for an exceptional pediatric dental experience. Dr Moqattash is very personal and remembered who I was from my last visit.  He is thoughtful and considerate as to any pain or discomfort me or my kids might feel. Why replace it at all

What a gap
does over time.

A missing back tooth is easy to live with at first. The reasons to replace it are mostly about what happens next.

Neighbouring teeth driftTeeth either side of a gap can tilt into the space, and the opposing tooth can over-erupt, which changes how your bite meets.

Bone changes where the root wasThe bone that held the root is no longer being loaded and tends to reduce over time. That can affect what is possible later.

Chewing shifts to other teethThe remaining teeth take more load than they were designed for, which can accelerate wear or cracking.

Front teeth and confidenceA visible gap is a different conversation from a back one, and there is nothing unreasonable about wanting it dealt with.

Several missing teethMultiple gaps, or a full arch, open different options — implant-supported bridges and dentures among them.

A tooth that is about to come outIf an extraction is planned, it is worth discussing replacement beforehand. Options can be affected by what happens at the time of removal.

Options & suitability

Implants, bridges
and dentures.

Implants are the focus of this page, but they are not the only answer and not everyone is a candidate.

Implants replace a tooth without involving the neighbours, and need enough healthy bone to support the post. Where there is not enough, bone grafting is sometimes possible — that is assessed case by case, not promised in advance.

Bridges are usually quicker and avoid surgery, but involve preparing the teeth either side. See crowns and bridges.

Dentures and full mouth options, including implant-supported dentures and porcelain bridges, suit larger numbers of missing teeth. The clinic also offers All-on-4 full-arch treatment — ask about it at the consultation, including what is fitted on the day and what comes later, because those are not the same thing.

The plan and the cost
What is involved, how long it is likely to take, and a cost that makes clear which parts are included. You take it away and decide.
Placing the implant
The post is placed into the bone. What can be fitted at that stage varies by case, and anything placed immediately is usually temporary.
Healing
The implant needs time to integrate with the bone. This is the long part, and it is not something that can be rushed without risking the result.
The final restoration
Once healing is confirmed, the abutment and the final crown, bridge or denture are fitted and checked.

How much does a dental implant cost?

The honest answer is that it depends on how many teeth, whether grafting is needed, and which parts are included — implant, abutment and crown are usually costed separately. Am I a candidate for implants?

It depends on the amount and quality of bone where the tooth was, your gum health and your general medical history. Smoking and uncontrolled diabetes both affect healing. Cone-beam 3D imaging is what answers this properly — and if implants are not right for you, we will tell you and go through the alternatives.

How long does the whole process take?

Months rather than weeks, because the implant has to integrate with the bone before it can carry a tooth. The exact timeline depends on your case, whether grafting is needed, and how healing goes. You will get a realistic expectation at the consultation.

Will I be without a tooth while it heals?

Not necessarily — a temporary option is often possible, depending on the case and where the gap is. Ask about this specifically at the consultation, because it varies and it matters to most people.

Do I need a bone graft?

Some people do and some do not. It depends on how much bone remains, which is exactly what the 3D scan shows. It is not something anyone can tell you in advance of imaging, and we would be wary of anyone who claims otherwise.

Is an implant better than a bridge?

Neither is universally better. An implant avoids preparing the teeth either side of the gap and does not rely on them; a bridge is quicker and avoids surgery. If the neighbouring teeth already need crowns, a bridge often makes more sense. We will lay out both.

Do implants last forever?

No, and anyone promising that is overselling. They can last many years with good care, but they can also fail — particularly with gum disease, smoking, or without regular maintenance. They need cleaning and check-ups like natural teeth.

What about All-on-4 or full-arch implants?

The clinic offers All-on-4 treatment. What is fitted on the day of surgery is typically a temporary fixed set, with the final restoration made later — those two stages are often blurred in advertising, so ask specifically about both when you discuss it with us.

We are a PPO provider for many dental plans and we accept children’s Medicaid. Coverage differs plan by plan, so give the team your details and they will check before you book rather than guessing. Implant coverage varies considerably between plans. CareCredit is available if you would rather spread a larger treatment plan.

 Verified I have been coming here the past two years. First, Lorena is an amazing liaison with your insurance and will do all she can to help you with receiving services. Every single staff member of this establishment is KIND and PATIENT. I love that each of their personalities are all positive and uplifting. Which brings me to Simone, the dental hygienist who is knowledgable, thorough in her work, and compassionate. My mom enjoys going to Simone, which says a lot for someone who in the past dreaded going to get a cleaning. Lastly, Dr. Alex is not a pushy salesman type of dentist. He will give you his recommendations and rationale. Truly, he is a nice man who has provided me, my mother and my 2 year old will excellent care.  Verified I had gone to another dentist close by and they quoted me a pretty high price, 8400.00 out of pocket, I decided to get a second opinion and came to Finesse dental in Rancho, the office manager I spoke to, her name is Lorena, she is very professional and very friendly, gave me great advice insurance wise, I ended up paying less than half of what the other dentist was going to charge, what I noticed right away is they have the latest in technology as far as equipment and dental software, very impressive, Dr. Moqattash is very professional, friendly and patient with his patients, also he is very good at what he does, his staff give out a great vibe, I am super happy that I decided to come here, the dental hygienist was also very professional and friendly and gave me lots of great advice on how to care for my teeth. I don't even know what to say. As someone that was traumatized as a child from the dentist. When I found out my child(3yr) had a cavity I was highly anxious. After doing hours of research on the fillings it left me even more anxious knowing my kid had to fast be sedated and injected for a cavity. When loosing hope I found a post on laser fillings for cavities, which is non invasive. I quickly came
On yelp to find my nearest option  and I came across this dentistry. If we were informed that such technology exists less children would be traumatized. The staff here is beyond amazing and helpful.  Verified I would like to take a minute to thank Dr. Alexander for the exceptional work and customer service he provided my dear Mom. She is 82 years old and has never had any dental work done in her life. She has beautiful teeth. But, she recently found a cracked tooth that desperately needed attention. So, he found that she actually needed two root canals on two of her wisdom teeth which went very smoothly. I had hoped that it would not be painful for her, but she did wonderful throughout the entire procedure. Alexander was very professional, knowledgeable, confident, gentle, and kind! He was very accomodating to Mom--I was very pleased with him. The entire staff is quite cohesive with how they work together as a team. Lorena was exceptional--very nice and personable and the other two assistants were equally impressive. The office is classy and serene and peaceful with its fountain in the center of all the work stations. The music was very relaxing. She provides useful tips in bettering my hygiene practices and is very attentive in making sure I get a good clean on my checkups.
